Having read this "thread" I can understand the underlying frustration in Michael's reply.
It's not frustration. But when you go to the doctor's, you tell him what's wrong with you. Or he will ask. That's what I did. We can't help you if we don't know what's wrong. You must at least know how it's failing: Squeezebox can't connect. Web interface does not come up. Server is giving an error message. There must be some kind of symptome or you would not know ;-)

However, I think this highlights the huge differences in the technical ability of SlimServer/Squeezebox users. I am a very low tech user, and I wouldn't have a clue as to how to contribute with a log file to help the developers. I think I will wait until SlimDevices notify official launch of the 6.0 release for general consumption. Sooner the better SlimDevices. Keep up the good work. Best wishes to all David

Feedback from someone with OS X 10.3.8, enough RAM, HD, etc, and no problems with Slimserver 5.4.1: I'm sure the answer will be "don't mess with what you don't understand", but I am having absolutely no luck with any of the 6.0 releases! Is it supposed to work? If so, how?
Of course it is. Please give some information about how it fails to work: error messages, log files etc.
