Hi Arthur, The wireless squeezebox has an 802.11b interface. Connecting it to an 802.11g WAP will not improve your speed at all. In addition, the performance of any G devices on your G network will be degraded (though not all the way down to b speeds). It has been explained that you cannot upgrade the PCMCIA card inside because the bus it is on doesn't have enough bandwidth to support G. If you want G speeds then you'll need to buy a wireless bridge and connect it to the rj45 jack on the back of your unit. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
