It's probably not worth the CPU to do this, if it's even doable in real time. I would either convert all your oggs to flac, or stream in PCM.
The availability of the larger 802.11g pipe, plus the larger buffer would make me think this is the case. Or at least to give that a shot before doing an on-the-fly transcode from ogg to flac.
