Ahhh, nice. I hadn't thought of that. Why walk around the block when the
goodies are right next door. :-)

Hello all...
I have my music on a seperate server (mandrake9) from my slimserver
machine(Win2K3) that shares my music via smb and I have it mapped to
my slimserver computer as my z: drive. When I configure slimserver to
scan z:\, it returns an error saying '*Oops - "Z:" doesn't seem to be
a valid directory. Try again.*' Is this a limitation of slimserver
that it cannot use mapped drives for getting music? I have all my
storage drives on my linux machine but wanted to run Slimserver on my
easier install Win2k3 Server. I can certainly put slimserver on my
linux box if need be. I wanted to check out the
slimserver/softsqueeze a bit before I ordered an SB2 to replace my
Audiotron.
thank you...

another option is to use the UNC path instead.
