This has been discussed. The problem seems to be that the squeezebox passes a bit-perfect stream...except for the fact that it inverts the sign of the bits. So...folks have gotten dts-encoded tracks to play properly by inverting the sign of the source file then when it's reinverted on the squeezebox it plays properly.
