Installed biography to plugins...renamed it to Biography.pm (why not?)
Simple answer: because you want the plugin to work ;-). Why do you want to rename it? Does the plugin reside in its own Plugins/Biography folder?

fill in for the missing modules, as I am playing with this on a windows 200 box. I get no more errors on the console in regards to the biography plugin, so it seems that the modules dependancies are being satisfied.....however I also get none of the functionality of the module. Where is the biography info supposed to appear under the Fishbone interface? I was assuming that if I clicked on a song it would be enabled or something under the song information (like the screenshot). Instead it just seems to be the normal song info interface. Yes, the plugin is enabed and I've rebooted the server several times. (if you must ask). Would be kind of cool to see this work.....
