You'll probably get lots of responses on this one...but I have to say that this thing is great looking on top of my TV.
Half the time, people don't even notice it's there, but when the do, they always comment on if my clock is correct.
Personally, that is one of the great things I like about it. I don't have a lot of chunking, annoying bells, whistles and flashing lights to distract me or anybody else. The dingus sits innocuously on a small shelf/rack in a corner and does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. Massive electronics may be another form of 'compensation' to some people. To me, it's a bother. Besides, such would not go with the classic decor of my 1901 Victorian living room.
