the itunes xml file is tested regularly to see if it has been changed. If at any time, a change is detected, then itunes is 'reloaded' after the itunes reload interval has passed since the last reload. To trigger, just change something from itunes. There is no need to schedule. A scheduled rescan via the plugin does a complete rescan of all data sources, which may or may not include itunes, depending on the server settings. With 6.0, the db does regular, ongoing checking of valid files, cleaning out stale data, and importing new data on browse folder. The moodlogic, itunes and musicmagic all have checks to refresh their data is changes are detected in the course. As such, the need for a scheduled rescan is, for all intents and purposes, a thing of the past. -kdf _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
