Of course, every time I update SlimServer to the latest version, it resets to LOCAL SYSTEM and I have to reset the LOG ON parameters to one that has permission to access the music share. That's kind of a
bummer because half the time i forget to reset it and I have to think
why Slim.exe can't access the music.
Right, this is the thing FireDaemon helps with. Set and forget your command line, or tweak it to your heart's content (adding/removing debug arguments, etc.); start and stop the service easily from the FireDaemon control panel. It's a bit less of a bother all around.
