When I "Power off" softsqueeze, I get a completely blank (black) screen, rather than the time (for which I have it configured).

Softsqueeze 2.6a16 Linux
Slimserver 6.0b3 Linux
Server: Time Format - hh:mm pm (12h)
Player: Screensaver to use when powered off - Datetime Screensaver

I have not tested other time formats.

Known issue?

No, but it is now :). Looks like a problem with the brightness control in Softsqueeze. If you set the brightness to maximum you'll see the time. I'll try to fix this over the weekend.

Great, the workaround is perfect. Let us know, and I'll be happy to check out the new version and verify the fix.
