Hi all My problem relates to alienBBC. The plug in shows in the web browser and I can access the playlists but I can't get a stream to play.
Mplayer and lame are installed on my vector linux (slackware based) system so I wanted to check that slimserver / alienbbc was looking for them in the right place. A quick look around the list led me to "transcoder_proxy.pl" but a search of my system has produced no such file. As I understand it, this file is needed to tell slimserver how the bbc streams should be processed, but is this file added by AlienBBC or should it be part of the slimserver install? Other than advising a reinstall of slimserver (done already) can anyone suggest how I can resolve this?
