I have a feeling that this hasn't quite been worked out yet. I've tried to sync my SB1 to my SB2 using the xsync.pm plug-in. The only way I got it to work was by selecting flac->mp3 via lame transcoding in the server file-types settings. I expected flac->wav to work, but it didn't. (No flacs would play on either device when they were synced.) I expect that as more SB2s are delivered into the hands of SB1 owners, this topic will get raised again and again and we'll see a fix in Slimserver v 6.0.2 or so.
