In your case, absolutely true.  However, having this issue turn into 'likeliness
of hardware issues' is a case of someone, somewhere taking the case for a leap.
 I'm not blaming you;  You are pointing out fact.  The application of 'likely'
is statistical spin, rather than fact. It is that point which I call
speculation.
