I've encoded a couple of albums for test purposes with FLAC at 964 kb/s, CBR.
SoftSqueeze 2 plays them fine, as I imagine the SB2 will when it gets here. However on my creaky old SB1, it plays (which surprised me) but in mono! Presumably it is being transcoded to LPCM?
Is this behaviour to be expected, or is there a way of getting it to play back in stereo?
