And no other changes in your settings when you upgraded? Remember that Forward and Rewind only work on files that don't get transcoded.

Basically, the default for wireless playback is to play WAV files as high quality MP3, as this saves bandwidth, which can reduce problems such as dropouts. For wired use, WAV is played as WAV. You can ensure WAV is played as WAV even for a wireless connection by going to Player Settings, Audio, and setting Bitrate Limiting to No Limit.

And if WAV is played back as MP3, the forward and rewind buttons don't work.

Possibly the upgrade reset your settings.

With an SB2, WAV is transcoded to FLAC. It's possible to disable this transcoding on the Server Settings > File Types page of the web interface. Without disabling this setting, you will not be able to FWD/RWD WAV files.
