Could you do a search on your machine to ensure you only have one version of socketwrapper.exe (the one that came with 6.0) ?

OK - can you prove your installation of slimserver and socketwrapper by proving wma streams work. [as this should work out of the box with slimserver and Alien relies on the same stuff] paste the flowing into the internet radio web page: mms://vruk.wm.llnwd.net/vruk_vr_hi Do you hear anything - what does the debug give?
