A couple of us are seeing the same behavior along with other idiosyncratic
behaviors that I think are related. I logged this as bug 1289. It was not
fixed by the 6.01 update. While the description in the bug doesn't exactly
track your issues, I've see variations on the theme (including watching the
display on an SB1 track the navigations done on a SoftSqueeze instance) that
closely resemble what you've reported.
