You can subscribe to the mail lists with different addresses, and then set those addresses to not receive any email using the Mailman interface.
Ah. That will do the trick. Thanks. However, I can't find the mailing list subscription web page now - the "Mailing List & Forums" link takes me directly into the forum, and automatically logs me in - I can't find a way to log off.
The sticky thread at the top of each forum has the URL for the mail list info page.
