No. I have found that I can recreate this bug on my iBook. I've attached (in the forum) a version of Softsqueeze with some additional debug enabled by default. Could you please try this version and let me know if it works for you. >From your stack traces and my debugging tonight it looks like the Java MP3 Plugin library is spinning when the stream is closed. At the moment I assume it is waiting to complete an mp3 frame, therefore the question is why is the stream cut short? I have found an off by one error in the Softsqueeze audio buffer, but have run out of time to do more testing now (it's bedtime here in the uk!). If this version does not fix the problem, could you try using jlayer to decode the mp3. I think this will work ok.
