It does, in a geeky sort of way ;-) I do like that huge volume knob in the middle. Cranking up the volume with push buttons on some of the newer gear doesn't have the same feel. I guess it all depends on the use. I like my stuff to just blend into the background in my theater room. Maybe when I get a plasma TV, it will probably be all silver, so I guess I'll be "ponying up" the dollars for a platinum sb2!
