1) The signal strength ranges from around 50-66%. I have never noticed a correlation between the dropouts and the signal. I fooled around a lot with Macstunbler and changing the frequencies, but no major affect.
2) I'll chack on the buffer stuff tonight.
Here's a thought for an enhancement.
Plenty programs (for showing signal strength of a wireless connection etc) show the data in a constantly updating graph, that can be saved. Would it be practical to have signal strength and buffer fullness available on the Web interface on a page that showed this? At present, one can only see what's happening at a particular instant, not over time.
