Just clearify: When the player gives the message "Lost contact with ....." and simultaneously the web log file (on computer) "cant find the page" - is that not a craxh?
"may have gotten caught up in a process for longer than you wanted?" I have set network - timeout to 300 seconds. What more should I do to get version 6.xxx running as I have written about Kind Regards Tore Johnsson -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Frn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Fr kdf Skickat: den 22 april 2005 09:37 Till: Slim Devices Discussion mne: Re: SV: [slim] Lost contact to Slimserver for v.6.1 Quoting Tore Johnsson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hi kdf > > I looked in to application log from the date and clock when I got the > crashes but there is no log at all. > For ex there is no name Slim.... > > Notice that I have already deleted version 6.xxx and reverted to 5.4.1. > Can this affect that is no log for this event? Windows will keep those events around until you delete them, or the log grows past the limit in size (quite large). I would guess that if there is nothing in the viewer related to Slimserver, then it may not have crashed. instead, it may have gotten caught up in a process for longer than you wanted? I usually suggest running from a command line: start->run C:\program files\slimserver\server\slim.exe -kdf _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
