The flac support was one of my main reasons for picking up the
Karma. (The other was support for linux.)

I've never had any problems with mine, but then I don't go jogging
with it either. :)

My only (really minor) reservation is that it doesn't understand
cuesheets, so I still have to split my flacs before loading them onto
the Karma. Not a big deal, and much simpler and faster than
transcoding them, but still a two step process instead of one.  But
considering how many people outside the slimserver and/or foobar2k
crowd actually store cds this way, I can't really hold that against
them.
