I had a similar problem (with some of the same messages in the event manager). What ended up fixing it for me was strange, but I won't argue. (Win2k, SS 6.01, SoftSqueeze 2.0b6)
My original network setup that wouldn't work: DSL Router --> Wireless router --> SlimServer computer After troubleshooting everything I could think of software-related I switched my cabling setup to: DSL Router --> SlimServer Computer DSL Router -- > Wireless router For some reason (anybody know?) connecting the SlimServer computer _directly_ to my DSL Router allowed me to use softsqueeze with the ssh option just fine.
