Well, you cannot take this "music" to your Squeezebox.  And I'm pretty
sure it won't be willing to go to a iPod either.

Yeah, it's easy to blame Apple, or even Slim as to why it isn't
supported.  We might as well Bill Gates too, just to be sure and
because he gets blamed for everything.

But it's really the whole industry that is to blame, but of course the
industry is only doing this because people actually buy into this
crap.

I have no problems with DRM as such, provided there was ONE standard
that would work across all players.

But my big problem with 99% of online music stores I have seen is that
they are selling inferior sounding music compared to the CD.

But whilst there's consumers stupid/ill-informed/rich enough to pay for
lossy non-standard DRM music that will last until who knows when, and in
a quality inferior to a CD then what hope is there?
