Ohh...
I use all players at the same time with diffrent playlists. And when I used version 5 or maybe 4 och slimserver I was told to change all those settings. (the problem was that all players can die if I change playlist of 2-3 players to big lists with about 2-3000 songs in each)

Now I run version 6.1 that is much faster than all prev. versions. I can actually run the webinterface.

I stream at the speed of my songs - many are in 192 KHz. And the worst scenario is that all my 16 players want that bitrate...

Nobody has responded, perhaps because we're lacking some information.
What are the symptoms for which you seek a solution?  Are the default
TCP/IP parameters not working?  Have you determined that the TCP/IP
stack is a bottleneck?  Are your players sync'd?  How many are used
simultaneously?  At what bitrate(s) do you stream?

You didn't mention your Slimserver version.  One caveat with large
playlists is that performance of 6.x servers may be worse than 5.4.x
servers, in terms of initial load times.  I base this on comments from
the list, not from personal experience.
