Java web start installs things in a strange place. If you want to start
Softsqueeze from the command line I suggest you download the version
from sourceforge at http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net. You can either
download a zip file (and install it where you want), or an rpm that
installs in /usr/local/softsqueeze.

I would really just like to start the softsqueeze that's already
installed. It was running yesterday but I'd like to start it again. I
can't seem to start it from the web interface on the slimserver-- I just
get the .jnlp file copied to my /home directory. Does anyone know if
restarting is possible? Where is SoftSqueeze installed on a Linux system?
The softsqueeze version on sourceforge says it requires slimserver 6 and
I'm sticking with 5.4.0 until I can upgrade my server. I really don't
want to put my Pentium II on an upgrade treadmill if it can be avoided.
Thanks,
