Well, it is odd that this was not a problem for me with version 6.01 or the earlier version of 6.1 (05-18). I have been using MusicMatch for a while with no major problems. Yes, I did see occasional spikes during scanning and other times, but they did not bring my server down. I do not let MusicMatch analyse the library on the my server. Rather I analyze new music on another machine and archive it the tags before loading it onto the server. That seem to eliminate most of the problems with earlier versions.
