A bit more carefull listening reveals that my SoftSqueeze is a fraction ahead of my SB2, not behind as I previously stated.
When I turn on one of the devices, I don't get synchronisation initially, but I wouldn't expect that given the way the sync works. However, if I leave it playing, rather than start a new track (in order to get synced), it sometimes jumps a track on its own. This also happens if I turn off a device: I had SoftSqueeze and my SB2 synced and then turned of my SB2 via the web interface.
