that when i move up or down or more items 1) several of them changes places simultanously and not where I want them to be.
What browser are you using? Do you have the same problem when using Internet Explorer 6?
I think the problem you encounter isn't really a problem with the menu settings, but with caching by your browser. The reason why I was able to reproduce, but Kevin not might be that I'm not using MSIE6 but he does. The GUI that comes with slimserver for windows does not use MSIE6 neither. So you might have the problem with the GUI, but not with IE...
BTW: I had the same strange behaviour in other places, too. Some options seemed to be reset after every change...
