I don't see much in the Event Viewer and nothing that appears at the times it breaks. I have seen this, which may be related: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Event Category: None Event ID: 0 Date: 6/12/2005 Time: 8:59:19 PM User: N/A Computer: MUSICSRVR Description: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: OpenService failed: The specified service does not exist as an installed service . I also tried completly uninstalling SS and reinstalling the 6/12 nightly (since I had installed on top of 6.0.x). It seems a bit better but bombed out last night at some unknown time. There was nothing in the Event log during that period.
