Hello all! I hope you can help me out with ideas. I have just received my spanky new SB2, and need to equip my living room with speakers & and a receiver to complement it. Do you have any suggestions? Right now I'm just using some Altec Lansing computer speakers, but want to get a 5.1 setup for movies.
Here are my (very simple) requirements. -I am *not* in any way an audiophile -Can't spend more than C$500 -I only have one input device other than the SB2, which is my DVD player (has coax digital and RCA outputs). -If I can get away without a receiver or amp (i.e. SB2 connects directly to the speakers), that would be fine. -I don't want to use the headphone jack on the SB2 Anyone have any advice? (I apologise in advance to those of you who are audiophiles... you must be cringing at my very low requirements!) Thanks all!
