This may have already been discussed on the dev lists (a quick search didn't turn up much), but is there any reason the server couldn't provide an HTTP API (REST, SOAP, JSON, whatever) for triggering operations and getting information? Having a clean separation between the presentation layer and the backend should make it easier to maintain skins across server changes. And it would make it easier to rich UIs, in a browser, XUL, Flash, what have you. -- jdunning _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
