Ha! I am now the proud owner of a platinum SB2:
- It looks amazingly good on top of the old Quad 34/405. - It does not have any dropouts, even after 5 minutes of microwave use while playing FLAC's. (where 5 seconds of mw killed off the SB1) - It sounds perfect. - It's display is way better than SB1's. - It shipped in under THREE days from CA to Ammsterdam! - All in all getting it directly from Slim Devices turned out 45 cheaper then getting one from a EU dealer. - It is, in three words, a flawless product. The only thing I miss is the pony. It was not in the box. So now I will never know what it looks like :-( A well, I'll find another squeeze.....
