Could you supply so additional info. Which OS are are you using? Which version of mplayer? Which version of SlimServer?
If it is Windows then: Could you stop the server and then: 1) Open a command window (click on Start menu then "Run", type "cmd" return.) 2) change directory to location of slim.exe [usually C:\Program File\SlimServer\server]: type "cd C:\Program File\SlimServer\server" return 3) start the server manually with debugs: type "slim --d_source --d_remotestream" return 4) Let the server start and then try to play a stream from the player. 5) Type control "C" in the cmd window and the copy the text in it (going back as far as possible) - paste this into a message on this forum...
