I checked prices, but to the UK at least they seemed expensive.

"I have had great success with http://www.mfgquote.com for small
machining projects. There are a lot of machine shops out there who need
business. Prices for pretty complicated parts have become ridiculously
cheap. When I get some spare time I want to make a small machined case
for the SB and have it polished."

Shame that's not true in the UK: the machine shops here all seem to
have given up.  Just getting anyone to quote for small qs is a
nightmare.
