As far as I can tell, it is just the tags. But, since iTunes will rename files if the tags change, maybe it will help??? It can't hurt, I guess...
Well, you might try using that functionality - don't change the encoding of the tags, but have iTunes rename the files. Try it with a small set first. -D -- On second thought, let's not go to Camelot.
