I recently purchased the Squeezebox2 and connected it to my network. When PC-cillin Internet Security is shut down, the Squeezebox2 finds slimserver and I can playback music. However, when I activate Pc-cillin, the message "Connecting to slimserver" appears for about 10 seconds, then disappears without connecting. I went into my firewall and setup both slim.exe and slimserver.exe to connect to ports 3483, 9000 and 9090 for both TCP and UDP to all IP addresses for an outbound connection. Any ideas for what I have to do to establish a connection without shutting down my firewall?
