I've recently upgraded from the old Slimserver software to SqueezeCenter. Previously, when streaming to a Winamp client on my LAN, if I closed Winamp and restarted it then playback would take up where it left off. This behaviour has gone with the new software - my "random play" playlist is cleared and I have to restart playback.
Interestingly, when I use iTunes then playback does restart correctly even though the settings for the two players are identical.
