The last line of that (MH10188) is a code that identifies the actual manufacturer of the battery, which in this case is Sanyo Electric, although consumers cannot buy this type of item directly from the manufacturer. The Logitech web site sells the replacement batteries here (under a new part number) http://www.buylogitech.com/store/logius/en_US/DisplayCategoryProductListPage/categoryid.11817400 for $29.99, and states that they are compatible with both the Squeezebox Controller and the Harmony 1000 remote. So I guess my questions have been answered.
