I noticed the same issue when Pvconnect was automatically installed by the MediaSmart upgrade. I went to Add/Remove Programs on the Server (via Remote Desktop) and removed Pvconnect, and SqueezeCenter began working again. This can also be done from the WHS Console, in Settings -> Add-Ins, where there is an Uninstall button. If you want both SqueezeCenter and Pvconnect, you will have to change the port.
