Sorry, I was confused. I assume that the Transporter in Digital out mode will sound the same as the SB3, except you'll have support for 24/96 FLAC etc. If there both using the same DAC there will be no sound difference, all they are doing is sending the same digital data to the DAC. The Wadia seems an expensive way to get Digital out from an IPod.
