Both of the SLIMP3s are on powerline networks in different parts of the house. As it turns out when I reset the powerline bridge connected to the main network switch, the SLIMP3s were able to connect to SqueezeCenter. I'm not sure if this was just a coincidence but stranger things have happened. Thanks for the positive responses. :)
