Can someone help with this problem? Flac files are not showing up in the music library. Here's the full story:
I've had a SliMP3 for years recently running SlimServer 6.x with MP3 files and all was well. I recently added a Duet to the mix and installed SqueezeCenter 7.1 (which uninstalled 6.x). Now my MP3s still show up fine and play on both boxes. All is good. So I decided I wanted to try flac files to compare the quality to my MP3s, I wanted to try a couple of CDs to see if I noticed the difference before embarking on a big re-ripping job. So I ripped a couple of CDs using dbPowerAmp. I use \\servername\My Music\ as the root library, so I now have \My Music\Artist\ and \My Music\Artist (flac)\ but when I rescan the library the flac files aren't found. I have SC on an XP box with the music files on a share from another XP box. I've tried a full clear library and rescan, I've tried clearing the cache and prefs before rescanning but still they don't show up either through Music Library/Artists or through Music Folder. What's going wrong? Why isn't SC finding and indexing my flac files? Why aren't they even showing up when I browse the Music Folder even though I can see them in Windows Explorer.
