Hi,

I am currently running two receiver with a ReadyNAS Squeezeserver 7.2
and I really like the concept. But I don't understand why there is no
real power switch on the receiver model. I totally understand that the
underlying system wants to be always (WIFI-)on which makes absolutely
sense if you use your system on a daily basis. But I am thinking about
buying a Boom for the bedroom and I will use the Boom there maybe once
a week and it would be great if the product would provide the ability
to switch it off completely. Yes I know that I will have to go back the
Boom to switch it on again but thats totally ok. My Denon Receiver also
has a standby mode and additionally has a power switch that completely
shuts down the entire machine. Using a power socket with a plug is no
option because I want to put the Boom into my bookshelf and there is no
nice way to hide it there. Please remember that I would have to pay
about 60$/year only for standby here in europe.
So whats the reason for saving such an important feature?

Thanks,
Campus
