I'm using the new alarm in 7.2, but have encountered a quirk when using the duration facility - when the timer expires it simply pauses, surely it would be more appropriate for it to put the player into standby, or perhaps back into the state it was in before the alarm fired?
It can sometimes leave the box in a slightly confused state, one morning I'm pretty sure the alarm fired but the screensaver stayed on Date/Time - music played just fine. Then when the alarm switched off the player changed to "now playing/paused"!
