The flashing display is very annoying. In fact, with this behaviour, the switchable mains output of my Amp/Receiver is unusable with the Squeezebox. If I want just listen to FM-radio, the squeezebox keeps flashing infinitely until I have found the remote and press the power-button, although I do not want to use the squeezebox at all in this case.
Again: - It would be perfect for me if the squeezebox would behave like in earlier versions. - It would also be fine if the Squeezebox sends a WOL packet and wakes up the server, although I wouldn't need the server if I listen to FM, Audio-DVDs, etc. If you stick to the current behaviour, the squeezebox must be connected to the mains all the time, where it consumes x Watts in standby (haven't measured lately).
