I think this is the URL for Device Manager, which is designed for Windows. http://www.insteon.net/sdk/Files/dm/ I don't know if it would work under WINE or the like, as I have no Insteon hardware myself (Greg Brown of SuperDateTime and SiriusRadio fame wrote the Insteon support for PowerCenter). You should be able to run SqueezeCenter + PowerCenter on a Linux system with DM running on a Windows system -- PowerCenter merely needs to make HTTP requests to the DM host. There is some Linux software for some Insteon controllers (see http://www.linuxha.com/athome/common/iplcd/ for starters), but I haven't investigated it. I have occasional troubles with X10 (especially lamp modules), but the pain isn't great enough for me to spend $ checking out Insteon. :-) -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver ContextMenu FuzzyTime KitchenTimer PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52909 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
