Yes, you can use SqueezeCenter on your home PC and then access it from the web (once you've set up port forwarding and security as shown in 'the wiki' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/ConnectingRemotely)).
You have two options for playback:- - On a remote PC, you can use SoftSqueeze or the upcoming SqueezePlay to access your library and play. This gives you the most control. - Alternatively, you can use any web-enabled media device to tune into http://[yourserver]:9000/stream.mp3 and use the web interface to choose tracks to play. -- simbo *bedroom:* squeezebox 3 => audioengine a2 *study:* squeezebox receiver => marantz pm6002 => grado sr80 *lounge:* softsqueeze => mce 2005 => yamaha dsp-ax620 => mordaunt-short premiere *anywhere:* squeezebox controller ------------------------------------------------------------------------ simbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11481 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53125 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
