Any chance that future version of the Squeezebox products would include a hard drive, similar to a DVR? My thinking is that this could be beneficial in a few ways:
1 - No computer required to run SqueezeCenter, just run it directly on the device. 2 - Could support services like Rhapsody-To-Go. This would be super cool for the Boom: the ability to unlock it from the constraints of being on a network and take your music with you. 3 - Store your music collection directly on the device. Instead of having to stream your local music from another computer on the network (which has to be powered on,) the SB could serve as the host. I'm sure I'm not the first to have this idea, but a quick search of the forums didn't turn anything up so I thought I'd throw it out there. Actual implementation could go a variety of ways: an HDD could be an option so as to keep the base price low, or maybe the deivce could just have a SATA or USB connection for people to add their own storage later if they want.
